dc.description.abstract | The repeated measures analysis is an alternative to the classic design model increasingly used specially in studies related to social sciences such as in psychology or sociology. The main advantage is refered to the fact that the same person can be subjected to different treatments or conditions what leads into an economitation of the number of individuals that need to participate in the experiment. However not everything is an advantage, the fatigue, the possibility to have unbalanced data or the carry-over effect are some of the inconvenients that we will have to take into account when using this type of design. In this project the advantages, disadvantages and the assumptions that must be met when performing a repeated measures analysis will be adressed. Also, we will explain the different types of models that we can have depending on the structure of our experiment and each of them will be presented with an example solved using SAS. | es |
