Lectoescritura en niños con Síndrome de Down

Abstract

El síndrome de Down es una alteración genética por la que se presentan diversas dificultades, entre ellas en la lectoescritura. Se propone una intervención de lectoescritura para un alumno con síndrome de Down de 10 años. La finalidad de esta intervención es trabajar la lectura y la escritura en sus respectivos niveles. Para ello el trabajo está compuesto por tres partes. Un primer análisis de las características generales y en lectura y escritura de niños con síndrome de Down, seguido de una intervención organizada en 10 sesiones que trabajan la lectoescritura de letras, sílabas, palabras y frases, para concluir con la importancia de trabajar los prerrequisitos y la lectoescritura en niños con síndrome de Down.

Down Syndrome is a genetic alteration for which there are various difficulties, including literacy. A reading and writing intervention is proposed for a 10-year-old student with Down Syndrome. The purpose of this intervention is to work on reading and writing at their respective levels. For this, the work is made up of three parts. A first analysis of the general characteristics and in reading and writing of children with Down Syndrome, followed by an intervention organized in 10 sessions that work on the reading, writing of letters, syllables, words and phrases, to conclude with the importance of working on the prerequisites and literacy in children with Down syndrome.
