AB When the Second Spanish Republic arrived, the working pension was the only compulsory insurance in Spain, which was considerably behind in these issues if we make a comparison with lhe nearest countries in Europe. The usual slowness in the introduction of social insurances is now accelerated by means of a positive policy of insurances, characterized by its plurality of directions, more dynamism and efficacy its practical experimentation, in close relation with a change in the conduct of public authorities and social actors. We have elaborated this paper in order to analyse its achievements and gaps, from the experience in Valladolid.
