T1 Desafíos y nuevas líneas de actuación del Fondo Social Europeo: Examen de los periodos 2007-2013 y 2014-2020

AB European Social Fund is an European financial instrument, it s linked to helppeople get better jobs, to improve the employment of workers and citizens. Theirpillars have been two: training and outplacement. In the treatment extracts fromthe Treaty on the functioning of the European Union, the ESF is suitable forEuropean social policy, employment policy and professional training policy, andit introduces the great social and economic cohesion objective. Along times ESFno abandons original purposes, anyway, after the times, it makes adjusting tosocial necessities, it s always increasing social values of the European Union. Inthis article we analyze Council Regulation for the current ESF funding period(years 2007-2013) and upcoming Regulation (years 2014-2020), we exam thelevel of adjustment of Fund to the necessities and social aims there are presentin recent times, especially in a time of European crisis we live nowadays.
