The article analyzes a text of Strabo (3,14,16) where celebrations of the northern peoples at gates on full moon nights are mentioned. It concludes that they are related to the gates of the cities, not to houses' doors, and also it connects the act with an infernal indigenous god Dis Pater Roman. This deity is associated with luppiter Optimus Maximus Anderon. It also analyzes the ritual connected to the creation of the city, its walls and gates and notes the existence of foundation rituals in the Celtic world that comes from an Indo-European background. Also, it examines a number of Indigenous stelae with archery which are associated with the gates of Hades and metempsychosis. The possible connection of Silio Itálico eschatological proposals with the beliefs of Celtic society on the same subject Is studied. It is also considered a possible link between the gates of Hades and metempsychosis and keys carryed by Gallo-Roman deities.
