AB This work is the result of a collective effort of research groups in the northeast of The Brazil, articulated in the Group network LEPEL / FACED / UFBA -Group of Study and Research in Physical Education, Sports and Leisure,Faculty of Education, Federal University of Bahia -- Brazil). The text discusses the possibilities of work teaching physical education workshops organized in the construction of knowledge about the culture body. Have a need to relate the job teaching physical education at the Moviment of Workers of Camp Without land (MST) with the theory of knowledge -historical and dialectical materialism, and the project beyond the historic capital, without which run the risk of contributing more for sale than for the emancipation of the working class of the field. Retrieved elements that show the content of the class struggle and the centrality of the land question in Brazil when it comes to developing a cultural policy (education) that enables the entire working class access to cultural assets, including those relating to culture body -- the physical education, sport, leisure.The text culminates in a concrete examples of the experience developed with the MST - in the project to raise the education of young people and adults and teacher training (PRONERA) developed by the Group LEPEL / FACED / UFBA dance with the content and, in that context, a reflection on the theory of physical education in educational development in Brazil.
