AB We present a research carried out from the Design Based Research to investigate and intervene in a real context of sport from TARGET and achievement goals theory. First we developed in general the dimensions about TARGET model, and then we describe the dispositional and motivational climates. Finally we describe the methodological procedures involved in the preparation stage of the design study, the results and the development of the proposed intervention designed for a group of adolescents who play hockey. We conclude that a Design Based Research is promising and allows multidimensional and situated studies about motivation in sport.
