T1 Plane waves numerical stability of some explicit exponential methods for cubic Schrödinger equation

AB Numerical stability when integrating plane waves of cubicSchr\"odinger equation is thoroughly analysed for some explicitexponential methods. We center on the following second-ordermethods: Strang splitting and Lawson method based on aone-parameter family of $2$-stage $2$nd-order explicit Runge-Kuttamethods. Regions of stability are plotted and numerical resultsare shown which corroborate the theoretical results. Besides, atechnique is suggested  to avoid the possible numericalinstabilities which do not correspond to continuous ones.
