AB In this article we have collected references to forest in the military campaigns of the Roman Spain, dividing them in four different sections: Second Punic War; from the Second Punic War until the destruction of Numantia; Sertorio-Metelo-Pompeyo and Julio César-Augusto. On the one hand we have analysed the different Greek and Latín terms that are used, and on the other the different woodland references within the context of the era and place in which they appear. Finally, we have established a relationship between these sources and others which allude to forests from a different perspective.
