AB This BA Dissertation describes bibliographically ten books from the Historical Library of Santa Cruz (Valladolid) and examines the direct evidence of provenance present in them in order to find out more about the history of their circulation. These books have been selected for their analysis on the basis of having been written by English authors in the sixteenth century and touching the Catholic – Protestant polemists of the time, and consists of works by John Bridgewater, Robert Persons, Nicholas Sanders, and Thomas Stapleton. In addition, the analyzed books have been searched for in other libraries of Spain to determine their rarity.
