AB This paper focuses on the development of a program to increase EmotionalIntelligence in Secondary Education students. The proposal presents a way in which teachers can help their students’ personal growth at the same time as they learn and practice English. The program is planned to be used as a guide where teachers can make adjustments when they see fit in order to make the best program that suits their students’ needs as much as possible.The main focus of the program rests in the examples of materials presented to use when implementing the program, since it has been considered that those materials could get the students connect with them more easily whether they knew them before hand or not.
