<summary type="text">This study deals with the contribution of women to the economic and professional world in Roman Spain. The epigraphical research has shown two main groups. The first one includes those women which be long to the most important families of Roman Spain. They are the owners of factories and large states and take part in profitable bussinesses such as the export trade of the olive oil. Their social prestige and public influence are a reflect of their economic power. The second group consists of women which do humble, manual jobs. They often belong to a slave social status. On the other hand, jobs which need highly preparated people are rarely found among women in Roman Spain. In any case, the participation of Roman-Spanish women in the labour and professional world seems to be strongly joined to an urban environment and a high level of penetration of the Roman socioeconomic structures.

<summary type="text">The aim of this paper is to complete a research which tends to study all the carmina latina epigraphica of the Roman Republic and Empire, written over mosaic pavements or depicted. Our first two papers published in this field («CLE Musiva et Depicta Buecheleriana», Habis 21 1990 173-203 and «CLE Musiva et Depicta Zarkeriana», Faventia 12/13 1990-1991 369-384) have studied the CLE musiva et depicta contained in the collections of Bücheler-Lommatzsch and of Zarker. This paper and, perhaps, another one which will complete him, revise all the new matherial knew from 1958 (date of publication of Zarker's monography) to 1992 and the old matherial forgotten by Bücheler-Lommatszsch or Zarker.

<summary type="text">This paper describes some of the most relevant studies on Latin word order throughout our century from the descriptive, typological and functional perspective. Some of the results of the research by using these linguistic methods are analysed; the author also offers global conclusions about the achievements obtained by previous studies, and puts forward one approach which could offer a more accurate description and a more exact explanation of linguistic data.

<summary type="text">This paper eonsists on a typologieal analysis of laryngeal phonems: glottals, pharyngeals and, partly, uvulars, in order to identify the real nature of the three PIE laryngeals. As a first attempt, we propose /?/, /h/ and /hw/, a hypothesis based merely on the statistical probability of these phonems in a corpus of ea. 300 languages. Inasmuch as the more noticeable feature of the PIE laryngeals is the influence on adjacent vowels, we analyze the relation between vowels and laryngeals in arabic, hebrew, arbore and other languages.
