Así, intentaremos ver qué pretenden las instituciones asistenciales del pobre y para el pobre. Pero también, qué posición toma el asistido frente a la sociedad que pretende ayudarle mediante hospitales y hospicios. Si bien es cierto que nos faltan las palabras de los propios pobres, no es menos cierto que su comportamiento y sus reacciones nos pueden proporcionar pistas para su comprensión.; In this work, we aim to abound in one of the less known aspects about poverty and social care: the position of the poor in the charity frame-work. Thus, we will try to see what the charity institutions want from and for the poor, and, also, what position the poor take in relation to the society which tries to help them by means of hospitals and poorhouses. It is true that we do not have the words of the poor themselves, but it is also true that their behaviour and reactions can give us useful clues regarding their stand. Mientras la corte fue itinerante, la Sala reforzaba la actuación de los ayuntamientos de las ciudades donde esporádicamente habitaba el rey. Sin embargo, al instalarse la corte en Madrid de forma definitiva, no se produjo una cooperación entre el ayuntamiento de la Villa -que intuía una pérdida de protagonismo en la vida local madrileña- y la Sala de Alcaldes, sino que por el contrario sus enfrentamiento s por problemas de competencias fueron habituales. El consejo de Castilla fue la institución que debía dirimirlos. Al estar la Sala fuertemente vinculada al consejo -los mismos letrados en distintas etapas de su "cursus" administrativo ocupaban las plazas de oidores de audiencias, de alcaldes de Casa y Corte y de consejeros- el alto organismo sinodial optó casi siempre por la institución de la corte privando al ayuntamiento de atribuciones que en el resto del reino fueron siempre municipales.; The Hall of Mayors of the Royal Household and the Court was the institution which governed and dispensed justice in the places chosen by the king and his councils to reside. While the court moved around continually, the Hall of Mayors reinforced the official acts of city governments in which the king resided sporadically. However, when the court became installed permanently in Madrid, there was no cooperation between the city government, which intuited a loss of protagonism in the everyday life of Madrid, and the Hall of Mayors. On the contrary, there were constant conflicts because of problems of attributions between them. The Council of Castille was the institution that had to resolve those battles. Since the Hall had strong ties to the Council -the same "letrados" during different phases of their administrative careers occupied the posts of judges of "audiencias", mayors of the Royal Household and Court, and advisers- the Council of Castille almost always chose the Court institution, depriving the city government of powers that in other parts of the kingdom were municipal attributions. De las actuaciones de los litigantes de ambos pleitos podemos extraer noticias acerca de la creación de la sociedad, los bienes que la constituían o la organización de los talleres. Pero el dato más importante es la relación de obras que salieron de sus prensas con anterioridad al año 1487, entre las que hemos podido identificar algunos incunables.; The identification of the first anonymous printing house of Salamanca is due to the discovery in Valladolid Real Chancillería Archive of two Cartas Ejecutorias that belong to the cases that were held by the sons and inheritors of Diego Sánchez de Cantalapiedra and Alfonso de Porras, both associated to establish a "house of the moulds" in Salamanca. From the actions of the litigants of both cases we can obtain news about the foundation of the society, the belongings it consisted of, or the workshop organization. But the most important fact is that of the account of the works that carne out from their presses before the year 1487, from which we have been able to identify some "incunabula". Fenómenos que se analizan en el artículo, así como sus formas de gobierno y actividad.; The thirteen convents that the regular male clergy had in the city of Segovia in the last years of the Ancient Regime saw the number of their members seriously diminished throughout this period. They had to face absolutely powerless the stagnation and final wreckage of their rents. These events, together with the convent's polity and activities, are analysed in this article.
