El texto resume la intervención de recuperación y planificación espacial llevada a cabo en el sector de la Dehesa de El Saler, que constituye el frente litoral de la Albufera de Valencia, muy castigado en el pasado por la descontrolada actividad inmobiliaria y la destrucción del medio natural por una urbanización irreflexiva. El proceso supuso primero recuperar el paisaje inicial restituyendo la sección territorial natural, para poder después rehacerlo a través de una estructura funcional basada en la geometría, adaptable a dicha sección. El nuevo sistema espacial debía compaginar las intervenciones naturales con los usos turísticos de la zona.
This text summarizes the restoration and planning intervention developed in El Saler meadows sector, which is the coastal line of the lagoon of Valencia, very punished in the past time by means of the uncontrolled building activity and the natural environment destruction by a thoughtless urbanization. This process meant to restore the initial landscape as a first stage, by recovering the natural section of the territory; then, it was possible to reconstruct the landscape through a functional structure, based on geometry, opened to adaptation to that section. The new space system might be able to reconcile the natural interventions with the touristic use of this area
