Sobre la lectura de la materialidad lingüística de la literatura como acto subversivo

Abstract

La materialidad lingüística, la materialidad sin materia, como la llamó Derrida (2001) refiriéndose a Paul de Man, desplaza el acto convencional de lectura, e incluso el mismo estatuto de la literatura. Implica que las posiciones resultantes del acto de leer quedan inscritas en el espacio de la actuación ética y política con respecto al mismo hecho de la lectura. Esta materialidad no sólo es la condición de posibilidad de la lectura, sino al mismo tiempo e indisolublemente de su imposibilidad. En este trabajo queremos mostrar el tratamiento de esta materialidad dado por Saussure, Foucault y Deleuze en varios escritos heterogéneos entre sí, pero que sin embargo convergen en esta manera de leer los textos. La lección de lectura que se deduce de estos planteamientos puede entenderse como un acto de sabotaje, acto de cuestionamiento político ante las posiciones e inscripciones derivadas del acto de leer.

The linguistic materiality, the materiality without materia, as called Derrida (2001) referring to Paul de Man, displaces the conventional act of reading, and even the same statute of literature. It implies that the resulting positions of the act of reading are inscribed in the space of the ethical and political action with respect to the same done reading. This materiality is not only the condition of possibility of reading, but at the same time and inextricably of its impossibility. In this work we want to show the treatment of this materiality by Saussure, Foucault and Deleuze in several heterogeneous writings each other, but that however converge in this way to read the texts. The lesson of reading that is deducted from these approaches can be understood as an act of sabotage, as an act of political challenge to the positions and inscriptions resulting from the act of literature.
