El presente trabajo se centra en el estudio de un grupo de cerámicas romanas de mesa,
recuperadas en las excavaciones efectuadas en 2014 en la ciudad romana de Dessobriga,
correspondientes a la vajilla más extendida durante la época imperial, la Terra Sigillata. Entre
ellas se incluyen piezas originarias de otras provincias, como Sigillatas Itálicas y Sudgálicas,
así como la producción Hispánica. La presencia de estas cerámicas evidencia unas redes
comerciales y un trazado viario que se revelaron fundamentales a la hora de conectar los
núcleos urbanos del imperio con la gran urbe.
This paper is focused on the study of a group of Roman potteries of table, recovered
on the excavations happened on 2014 on the Roman city of Dessobriga, correspondents to the
most extended dishes during the imperial epoch, the Terra Sigillata. Between them there are
included original pieces of other provinces, as Italic and Southgallic Sigillatas, as well as the
Hispanic production. The presence of these ceramics demonstrates a few commercial
networks and tracing routes that were revealed basic of connecting the urban cores of the
empire with the great city.
