El reformismo Borbónico. Una perspectiva

Abstract

Se trata de un estudio sobre la burocracia española desde la perspectiva reformista del siglo XVIII, desde los inicios de la monarquía borbónica en el trono español hasta el fin de la centuria. El peso de los colegiales y sus redes conforman una élite de poder que tiene en los manteístas su opuesto, entre ambos se disputan los puestos en la alta administración del Estado. Además analizamos la Universidad como paso necesario para el acceso a la carrera burocrática dentro del Estado y de la Iglesia, junto a las modificaciones que, con mayor o menor éxito, se ponen en práctica a lo largo del setecientos.

This present study is about the Spanish bureaucracy, from the start of the Bourbon monarchy period in the Spanish throne until the end of the century, through the 18th Century reformist perspective. The importance of the students and their connections, contrasts with manteístas, and high positions in the State administration were disputed by them. We also analyse the University as a necessary step to be able to access, inside the State and the Catholic Church, to a certain degree in bureaucracy, along with the modifications that with greater or lesser success were implemented throughout the 18 th Century.
