Las intervenciones estatales y las reclamaciones privadas en las Fudaciones Pías

Abstract

Las rentabilidades espirituales y de prestigio social que instituyeron las Fundaciones Pías en el Antiguo Régimen, no tuvieron lugar posible en las mentalidades ilustradas y protoliberales. Sirven como ejemplo de la voluntad de extinguir algunas de estas fundaciones, las actuaciones que se iniciaron en esos años en Villarrobledo, municipio de la provincia de La Mancha, en los primeros años del siglo liberal, aunque se venían revisando sus contenidos desde las últimas décadas del siglo ilustrado.

The spiritual and social prestige yields that instituted the pious foundations in the Ancient Regime had not a possible place in the enlightened and neo liberal mentalities. They give us an example of the will to extinguish some of these foundations, the activities that began in those years in Villarrobledo, a village in La Mancha, during the first years of the liberal century, although their contents had already been reviewing from the last decades of the Illustrated Century.
