Análisis de los niveles organizativos y de la proyección social (en tanto resultado de un proyecto de transformación de una realidad conflictiva) alcanzados por el movimiento asociativo de los trabajadores en el contexto de la Segunda República. La presencia socialista, mayoritaria, nunca se vio seriamente amenazada por las otras corrientes que pugnaban por lograr la orientación del campesinado; pero sus profundas disensiones llegarían hasta el final de la experiencia democrática. Los cambios de situación política que afectaron al régimen, así como las frustradas experiencias huelguísticas y revolucionarias de 1934 incidieron negativamente sobre el movimiento asociativo, cuyos niveles de militancia, fluctuantes, resultan de muy difícil cuantificación.
This paper is an analysis of the levels of organisation and the influence on society (as the result of a project of transformation of a conflictive reality) achieved by the association movement of the workers in the context of the Second Republic. The presence of socialists, in majority, was never seriously threatened by other trends, which fought to bring about the end of the democratic experience. The changes in the political situation which affected the political regime, plus the abortive attempts of strikes and revolutions in 1934 had a negative influence on the association movement, whose levels of militancy fluctuated making it difficult to quantify.
