Campos léxicos de comercio y economía en los repertorios lexicográficos de Nebrija y Covarrubias y las diferencias entre ellos

Abstract

In this work it is ascertained that the different perspectives with which Nebrija and Covarrubias started gave place to divergent dictionaries, both in between the repertories of the Antonio, between themselves, as well as between those and the ones of the Tesoro of Covarrubias. The question is raised of what is specialists' technical language and what belongs to the general learned language, that can also belong in many cases to the technical lexicon, as well as the problems that this vocabulary poses in these works. For the purpose of its study, language relative to the economy and finances has been organized in different semantic fields to establish which are the most abundant and representative, as well as the possible divergencies between them. To finish with, the diatopic, diastrasic, diafasic etc., information contained in Covarrubias’ Tesoro is presented, and it ends with the disparities manifested by both lexicographers.

En este trabajo se comprueba que la diferente perspectiva de la que partieron Nebrija y Covarrubias iba a originar diccionarios divergentes, tanto entre los repertorios del Antonio, entre sí, como entre los de este y el Tesoro de Covarrubias. Se plantea qué es lengua técnica de especialistas y lo que pertenece al habla culta general, que puede ser al mismo tiempo propia del léxico técnico en muchos casos, así como los problemas que este vocabulario presenta en estas obras. El léxico relativo a la economía y a las finanzas se ha estudiado organizándolo en distintos campos semánticos para establecer cuáles son los más abundantes y representativos y las posibles divergencias entre ellos. Finalmente, se muestra la información diatópica, diastrática, diafásica, etc., que alberga el Tesoro de Covarrubias y se concluye con las disparidades que manifiestan los dos lexicógrafos.
