La pobreza en España

Abstract

El enfoque de pobreza no solo está orientado a aquellas zonas del mundo denominadas comúnmente pobres, ya que este es un problema que afecta a todos los países, se consideren del tercer mundo o no. El trabajo desarrollado a lo largo de las siguientes páginas tiene por objeto analizar la realidad que esconde la pobreza en España en el periodo 2008-2016. A tal efecto, tras un análisis de los conceptos e indicadores de pobreza habitualmente más utilizados en este tipo de estudios, se analiza su evolución en España, se examinan los principales determinantes del aumento de la pobreza en España y las variables que tienen más incidencia en la explicación de la pobreza de los hogares. The approach to poverty is not only oriented to areas of the world commonly called poor, since this is a problem that affects all countries, whether considered of the third world or not. The project developed along the following pages aims to analyse the reality hiding behind poverty in Spain during the 2008-2016 period. For this purpose, after an analysis of the concepts and indicators of poverty most commonly used in such studies, its evolution in Spain will be analysed, and the main determinants of the increase in poverty in Spain as well as the variables that have the greatest impact on the explanation of household poverty will be examined.
