Efectos socioeconómicos de la digitalización de la economía

Abstract

La Cuarta Revolución industrial es un fenómeno que transformará de forma profunda y transversal las formas en las que producimos, trabajamos y nos relacionamos. Al igual que en el resto de Revoluciones Industriales, existen incógnitas acerca de cómo este proceso puede afectar a nuestras vidas. Este trabajo surge con el objetivo de ilustrar acerca de qué es la Cuarta Revolución industrial, y qué efectos tiene y va a tener sobre la economía y la sociedad. Particularmente, es objeto de análisis el caso de la economía española, concluyendo que los efectos de la digitalización dependerán de la superación de ciertas barreras, tales como la resistencia al cambio, el coste y la falta de competencias

The Fourth Industrial Revolution is a phenomenon that will profoundly and transversally transform the ways in which we produce, work and relate to each other. As in the rest of the Industrial Revolutions, there are uncertainties about how this process can affect our lives. This work arises with the objective of illustrating what the Fourth Industrial Revolution is, and what effects it has and will have on the economy and society. In particular, the case of the Spanish economy will be analyzed, concluding that the effects of digitalization will depend on overcoming certain barriers, such as resistance to change, cost and lack of skills.
