La equinoterapia como terapia complementaria para favorecer el desarrollo de personas con discapacidad intelectual

Abstract

Con este TFG se pretende mostrar los importantes beneficios que produce la equinoterapia en alumnos con discapacidad intelectual, para ello, además de una amplia búsqueda de información y ciertos conocimientos adquiridos a lo largo de la carrera, se ha desarrollado un ejemplo práctico: la propuesta de intervención. Los resultados de ésta, por ahora no son cuantificables pues, de momento no se ha llevado a cabo; aun así, nos acerca bastante a descubrir los beneficios sobre la discapacidad intelectual, pudiéndose materializar en un futuro dicha propuesta. Se debe destacar la gran proyección que tiene la intervención, pues existen posibles líneas futuras derivadas de la equinoterapia, no solo relacionándola con la discapacidad intelectual sino también con diversas patologías; debido a los numerosos beneficios que resultan de la relación terapeuta-caballo-alumno.

This TFG aims to demonstrate the important benefits of Equine Therapy in people with intellectual disabilities. To achieve that, in addition to a wide search of information and the knowledge acquired throughout the career, a practical example has been developed: the proposal of intervention. It´s results , can not be quantifiable at the momento, as it has not been carried out yet; Nevertheless bring us closer tp discover the benefits of Equine Therapy on intellectual disability, being able to materialize in the future this proposal. Putting the spotlight on the great projection of the intervención, because of the existence of future lines that come from equine therapy, not only relating it to intelectual disability but also with diverse pathologies; due to the lot of benefits born of the relation between the therapist- horse-student.
