Análisis de los recreos y diseño de una propuesta para la mejora de su calidad educativa

Abstract

El recreo es un período necesario en la jornada escolar de los niños, pues les proporciona el descanso necesario para continuar con las clases, además de contribuir a su desarrollo físico, cognitivo y social. Pero en este tiempo también aparecen algunas problemáticas, como conductas agresivas entre iguales o el desequilibrio, por distintas causas, en el uso de los espacios… Por ello, este trabajo se centra en averiguar los aspectos negativos que rodean el recreo mediante una observación temporal de este, para posteriormente modificarlos a través de actividades en las que se fusione el carácter lúdico y el educativo, de tal manera que el alumnado se encuentre inmerso en un proceso de aprendizaje continuo.

Recess is necessary during the school time of students, because it provides them a really good break to continue with their lessons for the rest of the morning. In addition, it improves their physical, cognitive and social development. However, during this time some issues could appear, as aggressive behaviors between each other or the imbalance of the environment which is created to play football or the one which is destined for other activities. That is why this investigation is focused in search the negative aspects that exist during recess time through a temporal observation of it. The main goal of this is the later possibility of modify them using different activities that combine the playful and educational nature, getting the best learning of the students the whole time.
