This contribution deals with the last thirty years (1989-2019) in the history of Poland. A few years in which the Polish nation managed to free itself from Soviet-type communism to carry out an extraordinary process transition to democracy that made it possible to be linked to the Alliance Atlantic and the European Union. These years have undoubtedly been a time for the vast majority of polish the best period in the history of the country for almost three centuries. To understand the uniqueness of the time in polish history, it is necessary to look back and to review in the light of history the process carried out since the end from communism to the present day. That is what it is all about here.
Esta aportación trata sobre los últimos treinta años (1989-2019) en la historia de Polonia. Unos años en los que la nación polaca logró liberarse del comunismo de tipo soviético para llevar a cabo un extraordinario proceso de transición a la democracia que hizo posible su vinculación a la Alianza Atlántica y a la Unión Europea. Estos años han sido sin lugar a duda para la inmensa mayoría de los polacos el mejor periodo de la historia patria desde hace casi tres siglos. Para entender la singularidad de la época actual en la historia polaca se hace necesario echar la vista atrás y revisar a la luz de la historia el proceso llevado a cabo desde el final del comunismo hasta nuestros días.
