    Résumé
    This research analyse the impact of the events of the Catalan referendum which took place on October 1 (1-O) and the struggle for the independence in Catalonia thorugh the apps available (for free) on the platform Play Store to Android OS. The data were obtained through quantitative and qualitative analyses from each app that were found. Also questionnaires was sent todevelopers to know the motivations that leads them to launch these products. The conclusions show the increase trending in these types of alternatives aimed at entertaining with topical nuances of informational situation, as well as the direct connection they keep with the most relevant facts that happen. There is also a pattern that all the games try to follow and the keys to success to achieve popularization by studying their feedback. This analysis aims to show an option to connect journalistic information with a new story format such as newsgames. Journalism and video games are increasingly united, and the similarities between them are one more of the aspects that is noted throughout this project.
