Las bases geográfica y científica del pensamiento de Colón en el proyecto oceánico (II)

Abstract

Esta investigación corresponde a la continuación de otra sobre los orígenes del proyecto colombino y su fracasado intento en Portugal. Ahora nos centramos en su presencia en Castilla, donde tras una larga espera y un intento de fortalecer su plan, consiguió en la corte los apoyos suficientes para su respaldo. Por último comentamos las incidencias del primer viaje colombino y la realidad del mundo antillano observado, con el empeño de Colón en supeditar la nueva geografía física a sus ideas sobre el extremo asiático.

This research corresponds to the continuation of another on the origins of the Columbian project and his unsuccessful attempt in Portugal. We now focus on its presence in Castile, where after a long wait and an attempt to strengthen his plan, got on the Court enough for their support props. Finally we discuss the incidences of the first Columbian journey and the reality of the Antillean world observed, effort to Columbus to subsume new physical geography to his ideas about the Asian end.
