El presente trabajo pretende ofrecer una visión general del proceso de incapacitación, así como del nuevo referente a la adopción de medidas de apoyo para personas con discapacidad, haciendo hincapié en las diferencias más significativas existentes entre ambos. Determinando así, cuales son los aspectos que cambian de forma más relevante y cuales son mantenidos sin modificación alguna. Todo ello pasando por el concepto y las características fundamentales de la incapacitación.
The present work aims to offer an overview of the old incapacitation procedure, as well as the new procedure for the adoption of support measures for people with disabilities, emphasizing the most significant differences between them, determining which are the fundamental changes and which are maintained without any modification. All this going through the concept and the fundamental characteristics of this matter.
