La enseñanza del inglés a través de la literatura

Abstract

Este trabajo se centra en presentar el uso del texto literario en el aula de inglés basándonos en sus beneficios y posibilidades en el aula. Nos centraremos principalmente en la utilización de tres géneros literarios como recursos didácticos en la enseñanza del inglés en las aulas de Educación Primaria. Justificando su importancia, las ventajas que puede proporcionar en el alumnado y las formas de trabajarlo en el aula. Para apoyar la fundamentación teórica se ha diseñado un proyecto que abarca los tres géneros literarios y una serie de tareas para distintos niveles de la etapa educativa que nos ocupa. Algunas de ellas se han llevado a cabo a través de las TIC, herramienta adecuada para aumentar la motivación del alumnado en su desarrollo. Dichas tareas han sido llevadas a la práctica lo cual ha dado lugar a reflexiones sobre la adecuación del objeto de estudio.

This work focuses on the presentation of the use of literary text in the English classroom based on its benefits and possibilities in the classroom. We will focus mainly on the use of three literary genres as didactic resources in the teaching of English in Primary Education classrooms. Justifying its importance, the advantages it can provide for students and the ways of working on it in the classroom. To support the theoretical foundation, a project has been designed that covers the three literary genres and a series of tasks for different levels of the educational stage in question. Some of them have been carried out through ICT, a suitable tool to increase the motivation of students in their development. These tasks have been put into practice, which has given rise to reflections on the adequacy of the object of study.
