The teaching-learning of spelling in Primary Education is aimed at students making written produc-tions with orthographic correction, for this purpose, active and motivating methodologies are used for the students. The resources and activities to work on spelling in the classroom are varied and adapted to the rhythms of learning. Research carried out in a 2nd year Primary Education class-room has allowed me to conclude that descriptive texts have more spelling errors than narrative ones and that the kind of word with the greatest difficulty in writing is the verb. According to the gender variable, the errors due to the absence of the capital letter are more abundant in the girls, who generally present fewer errors in their productions in literal, accentual, spelling of the word and punctuation. | es |
