El europeísmo en España: María Zambrano en contexto histórico

Abstract

Este trabajo se centra en el estudio de algunos factores clave en el proceso de modernización y europeización de la sociedad española del primer tercio del siglo XX, tomando como elemento vertebrador a María Zambrano. Partimos de su biografía y pensamiento, para, posteriormente, centrarnos en la pujanza e importancia de las revistas, tertulias, espacios de reunión femenina, relación de Las Sinsombrero con la Generación del 27 y el papel de Zambrano en las Misiones Pedagógicas. Estas son algunas perspectivas desde las que se puede abordar, quedando otras muchas aún por tratar y con las que profundizar en la vida, pensamiento y contexto de María Zambrano.

The aim of this dissertation is to study some of the key factors in the process of modernization and europeanisation of the Spanish society in the first third of the XX century, using the figure of María Zambrano as a structuring element. The dissertation starts with her biography and thinking and, afterwards, it focuses on the strength and importance of the journals, gatherings, spaces for feminine coteries, relations between Las Sinsombrero and the literary group known as Generación del 27 and the role of Zambrano in the Pedagogic Missions. These are some perspectives from which we can approach the subject; considering that there are still many other perspectives to tackle in order to deepen the study of the life, thinking and context of María Zambrano.
