El desdoblamiento de género en las Siete Partidas de Alfonso x ‘El Sabio’

Abstract

El desdoblamiento de género se ha convertido en los últimos años en un tema candente por la reivindicación por parte de las mujeres en su integración en el discurso como figura igualitaria ante el hombre. A lo largo de las últimas épocas, la cuestión ha ido ganando adeptos, pero aún hay muchos que abogan por un conservacionismo en el lenguaje y mantienen el masculino genérico como la mejor opción para la inclusión de ambos sexos. El presente trabajo lo que permite es acercar un documento jurídico del siglo XIII, como son las Siete Partidas de Alfonso X, a nuestra actualidad analizando los desdoblamientos que aparecen en él para poder examinar los motivos que pudieron llevar a los juristas a realizar tales desdobles.

In recent years, gender splitting has become a hot topic due to women's demands in favor of their integration into the discourse as an equal figure to men. Over the last few years, this issue has been gathering more and more followers, but there are still many who advocate for conservationism in language and keeping the generic masculine as the best option for the inclusion of both sexes. This work allows us to bring a legal document from the 13th century, such as the Siete Partidas by Alfonso X, closer to the present day by analyzing the splittings that appear in it in order to be able to examine the reasons that may have led the jurists to carry out such splittings.
