La participación laboral de la mujer en España y en Castilla y León

Abstract

En este trabajo se lleva a cabo un análisis sobre la evolución de la participación laboral de la mujer en Castilla y León y en España en el periodo temporal comprendido entre 2005 y 2020. Para ello, en primer lugar, se hace un estudio desde la perspectiva teórica, explicando la distribución del tiempo de los individuos entre consumo y ocio y, posteriormente, otro estudio puramente descriptivo, donde se analiza la tasa de actividad femenina, regional y nacional, comparándola con cuatro variables influyentes: sexo, grupos de edad, estado civil y nivel de estudios. Para ello se han utilizado los datos de la Encuesta de Población Activa.

This paper analyses the evolution of female labour force participation in Castilla y León and Spain in the period between 2005 and 2020. To do this, firstly, a study is carried out from a theoretical perspective, explaining the distribution of individuals' time between consumption and leisure and, subsequently, another purely descriptive study is carried out, in which the regional and national female activity rate is analysed, comparing it with four influential variables: sex, age groups, marital status and level of education. Data from the Labour Force Survey were used for this purpose.
