“Next Generation”: Camino hacia una recuperación

Abstract

El presente trabajo tiene por objeto el análisis de la respuesta de la Unión Europea a una crisis sanitaria, cuyos efectos económicos posteriores han sido devastadores. La Unión Europea actuó de manera veloz y conjunta para paliar los efectos de la recesión, desarrollando un Plan de Recuperación Europeo cuyo objetivo es evolucionar hacía una Europa más fuerte, verde, resiliente y digital. El instrumento estrella será Next GenerationEU, con el que se pretende inyectar capital; y percibir en el corto plazo los primeros efectos de la recuperación, que será un camino difícil, pero necesario para evolucionar hacía un nuevo modelo económico y social en el que se apuesta por la digitalización, medioambiente, cohesión e inclusión

The present work tries to analyze the response of the European Union to a health crisis, whose economic effects have been devastating. The European Union acted swiftly and jointly to alleviate the effects of the recession. For this reason, a European Recovery Plan is being developed to emerge towards a stronger, greener, more resilient, and digital Europe. The star instrument will be Next Generation EU, with which it is intended to inject capital into the states and notice in the short term the first effects of this recovery, which will be a difficult but necessary road to evolve towards a new economic and social model in which it is committed to digitization, environment, cohesion, and inclusion.
