La sostenibilidad del sistema de pensiones español

Abstract

La Seguridad Social existe en España desde finales del S.XIX. La sostenibilidad financiera del sistema nunca había supuesto un problema hasta la reciente crisis de 2008, así como por los cambios en la estructura demográfica de España. Se ha producido un aumento de los gastos y una reducción de los ingresos de la Seguridad Social, que pone en tela de juicio la viabilidad del sistema, y preocupa a expertos y ciudadanos, ante la falta de medidas, de transparencia y de expectativas a la hora de planificar la vida laboral. En este TFG vamos a analizar los factores que determinan la sostenibilidad futura del sistema de pensiones y las posibles alternativas y medidas que permitan su viabilidad.

The Social Security, exists since the end of the 19th century. The financial stability of the system had never been a problem until the recent crisis of 2008 and the changes experienced in the demographic structure of Spain. There has been an increase in the expenses and a reduction in the incomes of the Social Security, which calls into question the viability of the system, and worries experts and citizens, about the lack of measures, transparency and expectations when planning projects of life. In this TFG we are going to analyze the factors that determine the future stability of the pension system and the possible alternatives and measures that could allow its viability.
