La importancia de la mediación familiar en los puntos de encuentro familiar desde el papel del trabajador social

Abstract

El Trabajo de Fin de Grado que se va a realizar, pretende conseguir el objetivo de realizar una justificación sobre qué son los Puntos de Encuentro Familiar (PEF), conocer su funcionamiento, y qué es la Mediación Familiar ejercida desde el papel del profesional del Trabajo Social, pero sobre todo la respectiva importancia actualmente de ambos para las familias y por qué estos recursos tienen que ir vinculados en procesos de ruptura familiar donde los menores están involucrados. En este caso, se plantea una propuesta de intervención que se basa en añadir un servicio al PEF, donde el Trabajador Social utilice la herramienta de la Mediación familiar, con el fin de ayudar a mejorar la relación entre el progenitor no custodio y su hijo ante la negación de este último a relacionarse con dicho progenitor tras la separación familiar, siendo lo principal el bienestar del menor. La principal razón, según los estudios analizados a lo largo de este proyecto, de que los menores no quieran ver a uno de sus progenitores, suele ser los sucesivos conflictos, de los cuales ha sido participe durante la separación familiar y le han supuesto un fuerte impacto emocional. Como ayuda para alcanzar el objetivo del proyecto y esta propuesta, se ha realizado una revisión de carácter documental centrada en el análisis e indagación de diversos artículos, tratados, documentos y libros relacionados con el tema, para conseguir de esta forma una base y poder reflejar las ideas clave de ambos recursos y las distintas características con las que cuentan (origen, objetivos, principios etc.) y conseguir así que se entienda la propuesta.

The Final Degree Project that is going to be carried out, aims to achieve the objective of making a justification about what the Family Meeting Points (PEF) are, to know their operation, and what is the Family Mediation exercised from the role of the Work professional Social, but above all the current respective importance of both for families and why these resources have to be linked in processes of family breakdown where minors are involved. In this case, an intervention proposal is proposed that is based on adding a service to the PEF, where the Social Worker uses the Family Mediation tool, in order to help improve the relationship between the non-custodial parent and their child. the refusal of the latter to relate to said parent after the family separation, the main thing being the well-being of the minor. The main reason, according to the studies analyzed throughout this project, why minors do not want to see one of their parents, is usually the successive conflicts, in which they have been involved during family separation and have been a strong emotional impact. As an aid to achieve the objective of the project and this proposal, a documentary review has been carried out focused on the analysis and investigation of various articles, treatises, documents and books related to the subject, in order to obtain a base and be able to reflect the key ideas of both resources and the different characteristics they have (origin, objectives, principles, etc.) and thus ensure that the proposal is understood.
