Trabajar la historia de nuestra ciudad en Educación Infantil

Abstract

En el presente Trabajo de Fin de Grado se muestra la importancia de la enseñanza-aprendizaje de la Historia en la etapa de Educación Infantil. Las Ciencias Sociales no ocupan el lugar que deberían en el actual currículo, por ello, se revisan las investigaciones que se han llevado a cabo sobre este tema. Se destaca la importancia de la utilización del entorno más cercano, y el trabajo con fuentes históricas primarias, así como el patrimonio cultural donde estos se convierten en elementos facilitadores para el conocimiento histórico. Se ha diseñado una propuesta de intervención para el alumnado del primer curso de Educación Infantil basada en todo lo expuesto anteriormente para conseguir acercar a los niños y niñas al aprendizaje de la Historia. Esta propuesta, además, ha sido llevada a la práctica parcialmente en un centro educativo, rebelándose con un gran potencial.

The present final dissertation shows the importance of teaching and learning history at the preschool stage. Social science does not occupy the place it should in the current curriculum, and for this reason, the research that has been carried out on this subject is reviewed. Moreover, the use of the immediate environment and work with primary historical sources is emphasised, as well as the importance of cultural heritage, and the way these elements become instrumental elements for historical knowledge. An intervention proposal has been designed for pupils in the first year of preschool education, which is based on the factors mentioned above, in order to bring children closer to learning history. This proposal has also been partially applied in an educational centre, revealing great potential.
