Propuesta de intervención con mujeres prostituidas y supervivientes de la prostitución

Abstract

Cada día millones de mujeres y niñas son prostituidas en el mundo, incluso en naciones que se autodeclaran igualitarias y establecen legalmente la igualdad entre hombres y mujeres en sus leyes como es el caso de España. En este Trabajo Fin de Grado (TFG, en adelante), se expone la necesidad de intervenir tanto con mujeres en situación de prostitución como con mujeres supervivientes de la prostitución. Por otro lado, se visibiliza tanto que la prostitución es inherente a la trata, que la demanda de la prostitución se caracteriza principalmente porque los prostituidores son hombres y las prostituidas son mujeres. Y, además, que muchas de estas mujeres se encuentran en una situación administrativa irregular, lo que denota que la prostitución se alimenta de la vulnerabilidad, la feminización de la pobreza y está interrelacionada con la desigualdad de género, de clase y de etnia.

Every day millions of women and girls are prostituted in the world, even in nations that declare themselves equal and legally establish equality between men and women in their laws, as is the case in Spain. In this Final Degree Project (TFG, hereinafter), the need to intervene both with women in a situation of prostitution and with women survivors of prostitution is exposed. On the other hand, it is so visible that prostitution is inherent to trafficking, that the demand for prostitution is mainly characterized by the fact that the prostitutes are men and the prostitutes are women. And, furthermore, that many of these women find themselves in an irregular administrative situation, which denotes that prostitution feeds on vulnerability, the feminization of poverty, and is interrelated with gender, class, and ethnic inequality.
