El armamento celtíbero, vetón y vacceo (siglos VI-I a.C.). Estudio comparado y contextualización social.

Abstract

La expansión de la metalurgia del hierro en la península se realizó de una forma gradual e irregular, y una vez adoptada por las sociedades que la habitaban, se aprovechaban de los minerales para crear armamento entre otros objetos. La llegada de los primeros objetos de este metal a los pueblos Celtíberos, Vacceos y Vetones situados en la meseta se produciría entre los siglos VII y VI a. C, que comenzarán a crear sus propias piezas de forma local en los siglos siguientes hasta el siglo I a. C, cuando serán derrotados por Roma. Este trabajo tratará de analizar su evolución en ese tiempo y de hacer una comparación entre ellos para establecer los puntos que tenían en común y en cuales se diferenciaban.
