En la segunda mitad del siglo XX el análisis de la Historia de la literatura modificó
sus horizontes de estudio, reivindicando a través de una nueva corriente crítica la
responsabilidad del lector en el hecho literario. Con el nombre de Estética de la Recepción
se bautiza esta nueva escuela que pone el foco en el destinatario de la obra y pretende
averiguar en qué contexto se produce la recepción de un texto. Este estudio pretende
seguir la estela de esta corriente de análisis y dar cuenta de la recepción que el escritor
vallisoletano Miguel Delibes ha tenido en Europa, concretamente en Alemania, a través
del aparato paratextual categorizado por Gérard Genette en su conocida obra Umbrales.
In the second half of the 20th century, the analysis of History of literature
modified its study horizons, claiming through a new critical method the responsibility of
the reader in the literary fact. This new school baptized with the name of Aesthetic of
Reception focuses on the recipient of the literary work and seeks to find out in what
context the reception of a text occurs. This study intends to follow the trail of this area of
research and to account for the reception that the famous writer from Valladolid Miguel
Delibes has had in Europe, precisely in Germany, through the paratexts categorized by
Gérard Genette in his well-known book Umbrales.
