La geografía del agua en Astudillo

Abstract

La geografía del agua, también denominada hidrogeografía, es una de las diversas ramas de la geografía que se encarga de identificar, analizar y estudiar las aguas del planeta, teniendo en cuenta cómo se distribuyen, qué dinámicas tienen y qué dinámicas han tenido. Como toda rama de la geografía, ha de tener en cuenta las interrelaciones existentes entre el territorio y el ser humano. La hidrogeografía forma parte de la geografía física que es aquella que estudia la superficie terrestre, pero también forma parte de la geografía humana, disciplina encargada de estudiar cómo actúa el factor “agua” con los seres humanos y viceversa. En relación con ello, se realiza este trabajo en el término municipal de Astudillo, en la provincia de Palencia, analizando la dinámica del agua, teniendo en cuenta en su estudio las características tanto físicas como humanas del territorio establecido

Water geography, also known as hydrogeography, is one of the several branches of geography that is in charge of identifying, analyzing and studying the waters of the planet, taking into account how they are distributed, what dynamics they have and what dynamics they have had. Like any other branch of geography, it must take into account the existing interrelations between the territory and the human being. Hydrogeography is part of the physical geography that studies the land surface, but it is also part of human geography, a discipline in charge of studying how the “water” factor acts with humans and vice versa. In relation to this, this study has been carried out in the municipality of Astudillo, in the province of Palencia, in which the dynamics of water will be analyzed taking into account in its study both the physical and human characteristics of the established territory.
