El telar de la desmemoria y la metáfora del bordado. Arte relacional desde una perspectiva intergeneracional y de género

Abstract

En este trabajo se realiza un análisis histórico-artístico de las influencias de carácter tecnológico Se presenta, a través de la metáfora del bordado, una experiencia de arte relacional e intergeneracional que reconoce la creación de puentes afectivos entre pasado y presente para generar conexiones a través de la memoria emocional y la representación del recuerdo. Este encuentro conforma un relato construido mediante breves narraciones desde la voz, pensamiento y testimonio femenino (abuela-nieta, madre-hija y hermana-hermana) que cruzan sus biografías en el tiempo compartido para el cuidado de un ser querido con Alzheimer. La acción simbólica de bordar juntas, acto íntimo de comunicación mediado por la palabra y el silencio, la mirada, la escucha y el tacto, posibilita la reconstrucción de una identidad que la enfermedad diluye y permite ser resignificada en cada objeto, lugar, persona y comportamiento social. Como en la trama de la vida, los hilos que se tejen juntos posibilitan el vínculo y la permanencia a una historia común a la que arraigarse en el tejido del Ser, enhebrando nombres, pensamientos, emociones y sucesos que nos definen en relación con Otro y en la alteridad. Más allá de la estimulación cognitiva, la acción artística del bordado revela el universo simbólico del conocimiento y los significados de cuidar y ser cuidado.

An experience of relational and intergenerational art is introduced through the metaphor of embroidery. This experience builds affective bridges connecting past and present through the emotional memory and the representation of the recollection. This meeting defines a story created by means of short tales that arise from the female voice, thought and testimony (grandmother-granddaughter, mother-daughter and sister-sister), as their biographies are interwoven in the time they share looking after a loved one who suffers from Alzheimer. The symbolic activity of embroidering together, an intimate communicative act, mediated by the word, the silence, the way of looking, the listening and touch, facilitates the reconstruction of an identity diluted by the disease, which gets a new meaning in each object, place, person and social behavior. As in the weave of life, the threads that are woven together facilitate a bond and a permanence in a shared story in which one can settle in the fabric of Being, threading names, thoughts, emotions and events that define us in relation with the Other and in the otherness. Beyond the cognitive stimulation, the artistic action of embroidering shows the symbolic universe of knowledge and the meanings of caring and being cared for.
