Se examina la legislación vigente y los debates éticos en torno a la autonomía del menor, considerando aspectos como el consentimiento informado, la madurez emocional y cognitiva, y los límites de intervención médica sin el consentimiento de los padres. Este Trabajo de Fin de Grado analiza los derechos del menor y la importancia de garantizar su bienestar, al tiempo que se protegen los intereses de los padres y se establecen directrices claras para los profesionales de la salud en el tratamiento de los menores de edad.
The topic of "the capacity of minors in the medical sphere" addresses the question of to what extent a minor can make medical decisions for themselves and what role parents or legal guardians play in this process. The current legislation and ethical debates surrounding the autonomy of the minor are examined, considering aspects such as informed consent, emotional and cognitive maturity, and the limits of medical intervention without parental consent. This Final Degree Project analyzes the rights of minors and the importance of ensuring their well-being while protecting the interests of parents and establishing clear guidelines for healthcare professionals in the treatment of minors
