Aims: Multifocal center-distance hydrogel contact lens (CL) designs have been suggested for monitoring myopia progression, however they can alter quality of vision. The aim of this study was to analyze the quality of vision of different marketed multifocal CL. Materials and methods: Distance visual acuity (VA), contrast sensitivity, high order aberrations (HOA’s) and blurred vision symptoms were measured in 10 myopic healthy subjects while wearing six different multifocal soft CL: Proclear Multifocal D geometry Addition (Ad.) +1,00 and Ad. +2,50, Biofinity Multifocal D geometry Ad. +1,00 and Ad. +2,50 and Acuvue Oasys for Presbyopia Ad. +1,25, and Ad. +2,50, Values were expressed as mean ± standard deviation. Comparison between CL was analyzed with the Wilcoxon test and p≤ 0.05 values were considered statistically significant.es
