Diseño de un sistema de información accesible para el Monasterio Real de San Benito de Sahagún

Abstract

El presente Trabajo Fin de Grado consiste en el diseño de un sistema de información accesible para el Monasterio Real de San Benito de Sahagún. Este sistema de información está compuesto de una maqueta háptica y un tótem informativo. Se pretende que estos dos elementos sigan las premisas del Diseño para Todos, con el fin de que todos los visitantes del monumento puedan acceder a la información sobre el mismo y a comprender cómo fue el monasterio y lo que actualmente existe de él, independientemente de si el usuario padece alguna discapacidad física o visual. Para ello, tanto la maqueta háptica como el tótem están diseñados a partir de las premisas mencionadas, presentando toda la información en braille y contando con leyenda y planos en relieve.

This Final Degree Project consists of the design of an accessible information system for the Royal Monastery of San Benito de Sahagún. This information system is composed of a haptic model and an information totem. It is intended that these two elements follow the premises of Design for All, so that all visitors to the monument can access information about it and understand what the monastery was like and what currently exists about it, regardless of whether the user has a physical or visual disability. To this end, both the haptic model and the totem pole are designed on the basis of the aforementioned premises, presenting all the information in Braille and featuring legends and plans in relief.
