Las tarjetas revolving: usura y trasparencia

Abstract

El presente trabajo tiene por objeto el análisis de la usura y la falta de transparencia en las tarjetas de crédito revolving. En primer lugar, se muestra el contexto, así como la definición y las características de estas tarjetas. A continuación, el grueso del trabajo se centra en describir las sentencias del Tribunal Supremo relativas a los intereses de dichas tarjetas y su posible carácter usurario. Por último, se valora la transparencia que deben de tener los contratos de tarjeta de crédito revolving.

The present essay has for its object the analysis of the usury and the lack of transparency of revolving credit cards. First, the context is shown, as well as the definition and characteristics of these cards. Next, the bulk of the work focuses on describing the rulings of the Supreme Court regarding the interest on these cards and their possible usurious nature. Finally, the transparency that revolving credit card contracts must have is valued
