Oasis. Diseño de una colección de mobiliario inspirada en la naturaleza

Abstract

El presente Trabajo Fin de Grado tiene como finalidad la creación de una colección de muebles inspirados en un oasis natural. El diseño final es producto de la relación entre la idea de oasis natural y metafórica, llegando a una colección de tres objetos que vistos todos juntos recrean la idea de oasis visualmente. De esta manera se ha creado una chaise longue, una mesa baja y una lámpara que simbolizan la idea de esto representando cada objeto a un elemento que compone el conjunto y dando una sensación de paz y tranquilidad. La chaise longue representaría la arena, la mesa baja el agua y la lámpara la vegetación y las sombras. Se producen utilizando diversos materiales para llegar al acabado deseado teniendo en cuenta la producción, la funcionalidad y la estética, pero siempre permitiendo reconocer esa imagen de referencia en el conjunto.

The purpose of this Final Degree Project is to create a collection of furniture inspired by a natural oasis. The final design is the product of the relationship between the idea of a natural and metaphorical oasis, resulting in a collection of three objects that, when seen together, recreate the idea of an oasis visually. In this way, a chaise longue, a low table and a lamp have been created, which symbolize the idea of this, each object representing an element that makes up the set and giving a feeling of peace and tranquility. The chaise longue would represent the sand, the low table the water and the lamp the vegetation and shadows. They are produced using various materials to achieve the desired finish, taking into account production, functionality and aesthetics, but always allowing the reference image to be recognised as a whole.
