The Crate, a Hip Hop pódcast es un pódcast que busca aportar una perspectiva distinta al mundo del hip hop, apostando por la actualidad y las noticias, pero desde un punto de vista histórico, relacionándolas con los orígenes del movimiento y algunos de sus personajes importantes. La plataforma principal será iVoox. En cuanto al estilo, se apostará por diferentes géneros como las entrevistas y los reportajes, sin dejar de lado las noticias. Además, de manera paralela, habrá episodios dedicados a ilustres figuras del mundo del hip hop, apostando por el “slow journalism”, dedicando más tiempo a la elaboración de las piezas y dejando en un segundo plano la inmediatez que rige los medios actuales. En cuanto al público objetivo, la intención es llegar a todas las personas que les interese la cultura, independientemente de la edad. Si por algo se caracterizan las diferentes prácticas de esta cultura es por la transmisión de información entre generaciones, haciendo de la veteranía una parte importante de la ecuación.
