La vulnerabilidad salvaje de Paul B. Preciado en "Dysphoria mundi". THE WILD VULNERABILITY OF PAUL B. PRECIADO IN DYSPHORIA MUNDI: AN EXAMPLE OF AUTOTHEORY AS FACTUAL NARRATIVE

Abstract

La autoteoría como género sirve para englobar a todas aquellas producciones artísti-cas (no solo literarias) que superan las fricciones entre teoría y arte a través de la autorrepresentación. Esta línea tiene una gran presencia en el pensamiento postfeminista y manifiesta una revivificación de la filosofía, el arte y el activismo desde una aproximación autoteorética provocativa y reivindicativa al mismo tiempo. Como género literario se define y expande en el siglo XXI, pero tiene ilustres prece-dentes en escrituras enmarcadas en el cambio de paradigma teórico de la segunda mitad del siglo XX. Dysphoria mundi (2022) es un libro fragmentario que participa de la filosofía y del diario personal. Preciado critica las políticas identitarias tradicionales y propone que la disforia de género no es una enfermedad mental, sino una inadecuación política y estética. Sugiere una nueva forma de subjetiva-ción que trascienda categorías binarias, abogando por un nuevo lenguaje y una revolución en marcha. Autotheory as a genre serves to encompass all artistic productions (not only literary) that overcome the friction between theory and art through self-representation. This line has a strong presence in postfeminist thought and manifests a revitalization of philosophy, art, and activism from a provocative and reivindicative autotheoretical approach. As a literary genre, it is defined and expan-ded in the 21st century, but it has illustrious precedents in writings framed in the theoretical paradigm shift of the second half of the 20th century. Dysphoria Mundi is a fragmentary book that partakes in philosophy and personal diary. Preciado criticizes traditional identity politics and proposes that gen-der dysphoria is not a mental illness, but a political and aesthetic inadequacy. He suggests a new form of subjectivation that transcends binary categories, advocating for a new language and a revolution in progress.
