La Revista Mexicana de Literatura supuso entre 1955 y 1965 un espacio de apertura y de transformación crítica que dio lugar a la configuración del grupo del Medio siglo mexicano. El presente trabajo propone un estudio sobre la revista y su relación con los escritores del exilio republicano español en México, con especial atención a los escritores hispanomexicanos o segunda generación del exilio republicano de 1939. Este artículo analiza, por un lado, la participación y el lugar que ocuparon en la revista y la proyección y presencia en sus páginas sobre el exilio español y su interés por los asuntos de la España franquista. Para ello, se describe lo qué significó la RML en el campo cultural mexicano, así como su proceso de transculturación.
Between 1955 and 1965, the Mexican Literature Magazine was a space of openness and critical transformation from which the Mexican Mid-Century group was formed. The present work proposes a study on the magazine and its relationship with the writers of the Spanish republican exile in Mexico, with special attention to the Hispanic-Mexican writers or second generation of the republican exile of 1939. This article analyzes, on the one hand, the participation and place they occupied in the magazine and the projection and presence in its pages about the Spanish exile in Mexico and their interest in the affairs of Franco's Spain. To this end, what the RML meant in the Mexican cultural field is described, as well as the transculturation process.
